Cross-linking agent for dealcoholization-type RTV silicone rubber/sealants: One-component, moisture-curing; typical dosage of 0.5–4%; determines tack-free time and hardness.
Coupling treatment for glass fiber/fillers: Hydrophobizes the surfaces of glass fiber, quartz powder, calcium carbonate, and pigments; enhances composite strength and moisture resistance.
Sol-gel and hybrid coatings: Co-condensed via pre-hydrolysis with GLYMO, silicates, or nano-SiO₂ to produce coatings offering increased hardness, scratch resistance, and UV stability (e.g., for lenses and polycarbonate sheets).
Raw material for silicone resins/methyl silsesquioxane (MSQ): Used to produce transparent silicone resins and low-dielectric electronic materials.
Architectural protection: Waterproofing agents and stain-resistant impregnating agents for stone and exterior walls.

Firefighting: CO₂, dry chemical, or dry sand; do not use water jets or direct streams of standard foam.
